Anastasis is the ancient Greek word for resurrection, carrying with it a sense of rising and recovery. Within this immersive installation over 2,500 seedlings are arranged to symbolically represent life cycles, the changing seasons and abundance of nature.

These themes are reiterated within the accompanying soundscape by Bob Birch that beautifully captures the dawn of a spring day. You are invited to spend time at the installation, walk through it, sit with it and take time out to reflect.

Anastasis opens on Easter Sunday (16 April) with three guided reflections and closes on Earth Day (22 April) when you are invited to come and take as many seedlings as you like during the day. [taken from the flyer]
